2015 Captains

Annika Benson (Senior Defender)

Annika Benson has been playing soccer since Kindergarten, 8 years with NSSA and the past 5 with Blackhawks. Annika has been a Raider varsity player since 8th grade and was named All Suburban East Conference Honorable Mention for her efforts as during her Sophomore and Junior seasons.

When Annika is not playing club or high school soccer, she is volunteering at the Human Society or doing school work (Annika is a member of the National Honor Society).

Annika attended Brimhall Elementary School and Roseville Area Middle School. Her family included brother Kai, sister Ava, mom and dad Lia and Matt and of course their dog Smore.

 

Echo Hawton (Senior Defender)

Echo Hawton grew up playing soccer for NSSA and now plays club for the New Brighton Blaze. This is Echo’s third year on Varsity and was named All Suburban East Conference Honorable Mention after her junior year.

When not playing soccer Echo plays varsity basketball, has lettered twice for academics, plays in the band, and volunteers through her church.

Echo attended Brimhall Elementary and Roseville Area Middle School and lives with her two brothers Siah and Ty and her parents Roxane and Mick.

 

Abby Jackson (Senior Defender)

Abby Jackson grew up learning and playing soccer with NSSA and now plays Saint Paul Blackhawks AND Saint Paul Fusion. As an 8th grader Abby was named Rookie of the year and was named All Suburban East Conference Honorable Mention after successful Sophomore and Junior seasons. This is Abby’s 5th year on varsity.

When Abby is not playing soccer you can find her running track, playing in the Orchestra and being involved in National Honor Society and Students in Action.

Abby is a proud alum of both Falcon Heights Elementary School and Roseville Area Middle School. Abby has one brother (Ethan), two sisters (Gracie and Mirabelle) and her parents are Jules and Randy.

 

Kaia Porter (Junior Midfielder)

Kaia Porter started playing soccer in Kindergarten for NESE and NSSA and then club for Saint Paul Blackhawks. As a three-year varsity players Kaia has been named team Rookie of the Year and Most Offensive Player and All Suburban East Conference Honorable Mention for the past 3 seasons.

Kaia does not take any time off when not playing soccer at RAHS. Kaia is a Raider basketball player and Trackster in the Winter and Spring. You may even hear her playing for the band.

Kaia attended Brimhall Elementary and Roseville Area Middle and her family includes her sister Kelsey and parents Rachel and Jim.
